Zilco Elastic Bib MartingaleThe purpose of this design is to act as a combination between a running martingale and irish martingale. The bib acts to hold the reins closer together for more control, and prevents them from going over the horse's head. Similar to Zilcos Standard Bib Martingale, this model includes an elasticated panel. This makes the effect a little bit less restrictive. The bib section is attached by a clip, so that it can be removed if not required.

Light and comfortable, didn't hold up for a full season

Pros:boots were extremely light and comfortable.
Cons: if you work in rocky areas like northern California you will only get 1/2-1 season on these. Mine lasted 6 months then the fabric ripped, the soles had holes all the way through to the middle, and the tread wore down til they were smooth slick rubber.
If they cost $150-$175 I'd buy 2 pairs a season but at over $300 a pair there are much better options

Nice boot!!

Very comfortable. Built well and obviously high quality. Fits a little big, about a size larger. They are a little thinner/cooler than the Danner Wildland and Haix Missoula. They do not have any NFPA rated tags or labels on the boot. Will upgrade the laces. Would love to see the boa system on this boot!
