This piece has been ebonized and finished with a lustrous museum quality French polish with gilded ormulu throughout. Three dovetailed drawers are all adorned with gilt brass dcor and the chest is supported by four tapered legs capped in brass. The top drawer has the original embellished key. The chest has an intact and original Carrara marble slab top.

My dog wouldn’t have any thing to do with these. The hole where you fill with water doesn’t close in anyway, so water leaks all over. Wouldn’t purchase again.

10/10 Recommend
I purchased this for our trip to Texas from Alabama with our 2 year old American bulldog in tow. I wanted something that was able to keep her secure, but something that would be comfortable for her. I was also concerned about sizing because even though she is a medium sized dog, she has a wide chest. I got an XL. It fit her perfectly with the adjustable straps, it was easy to get it on and off of her, she didn’t mind it at all, and the straps were strong enough to keep her safe and in place.
